Creating an LDS.org Account

You need to have your MRN (Membership Record Number) to create an account.  This can be found on your tax forms given by the church, or a bishopric member can give you that number.

  1. Go to the Lds.org webpage.
  2. In the top right corner click on  “My Account and Ward”.
  3. Click “Sign In”.
  4. At the Sign In page, towards the Bottom under the blue Sign In tab, click on  “Register for an LDS Account”.
  5. Click “Register as a Member”, then you are taken to the Registration page.
  6. Enter your MRN here in the registration page, along with your birth date.
  7. You will be asked to create a password so make it a good one, and write it down so you won’t forget it!
  8. Parents will need to authorize the creation of an LDS account, so you will prompted to have a code sent to either their email account or their cell phone, as well as clicking to agree to the accounts creation.  Once the code has been sent to them (cell numbers are the fastest way to receive the code), you will enter it where it is asked for on screen.  The code will be valid for 20 minutes only. After that you will have to re-enter the information you had previously loaded and receive a new code.

Once you have done all of these steps, your LDS account will be active and you can use this account to log into the following:
